Acne Do's & Don'ts
There may be some habits that you are engaging in that actually is making your acne worse. Improve your acne by keeping these self-care tips in mind. Remember that more is not always better. Always be sure to consult your Dermatologist for additional tips or concerns about your skin care routine.
Do's

Use sunscreen

Use make-up and moisturizers that are oil-free and non-comedogenic

Consider using tinted moisturizers rather than make-up foundations

Use your fingertips to gently cleanse your face

Change bed linen and bath towels frequently

Sanitize your phone and other objects that are constantly touching your face

Be mindful of how much you are touching your face

Wash and moisturize your face in the morning and before bed at night

Apply ice to inflamed pimples. But, avoid irritation

Use mild cleansers such as Cetaphil and Dove that does not over dry your skin
