Linda Mota
Founder of Topanga, Linda is a dedicated and talented Senior HR Leader with over 20 years of experience and proven success in all areas of strategic and operational Human Resources Management. Linda has led large, complex HR projects and programs in change-driven, fast-paced environments across organizations of varying sizes. After graduating from McGill University in Human Resources Management, Linda held Senior HR Leadership roles in multiple industries including: Financial Services, Telecommunications, Call Center, Recruitment, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Technology, Fintech and start-up. Throughout her career she has led HR teams through several high-volume recruitment and training initiatives in high growth organizations, successfully growing these companies from a few hundred employees to thousands in a few short years. In recent years, Linda has worked on several mergers, acquisitions, divestments, site closures and cultural integration projects. She has extensive experience in crisis management, as well as corporate communications.
In 2015, Linda became a certified Professional Coach through the IPEC Coaching Academy where she learned the skills to coach individuals, executives, leaders and high-potential employees on achieving development objectives, clarifying goals, developing capabilities and overcoming challenges to unlock their potential. Linda also coaches and trains groups on various topics including: leadership, creating highly engaged work environments and building high-performance teams.
Linda founded Topanga when she recognized that small and medium sized businesses were struggling to find trustworthy HR services that could provide flexible and affordable HR s without having to add to their headcount.
