GLO 5 Ingredient Deodorant
INGREDIENTS
5 Ingredient Deodorant
¼ cup aluminum-free baking soda
¼ cup arrowroot powder
4 tablespoons raw, organic coconut oil (at room temperature so it is soft)

Total Time 10 min
Prep Time 10 min
DIRECTIONS
Mix baking soda and arrowroot together in a medium sized bowl.
Mash in coconut oil with a fork until well mixed.
Mix in essential oil and Immune Shield
Optional: I also added ½ teaspoon of colloidal silver for extra anti-bacterial benefits.
Store in small glass jar or old deodorant container for easy use. Since you only need a little bit, a small jar should last you for about 6 months! Store in a dry, cool place away from sunlight.
Tips:
Apply with fingers. You only need a very small amount. Make sure it is fully rubbed into your armpit to avoid any potential staining of shirts. I like to massage it into my armpit, knowing that I am helping to move my lymph for better health, take a deep breath, and say a positive affirmation.
If you don’t have arrowroot powder, you can also use organic corn starch from Bob’s Red Mill. Or you can make this recipe with baking soda only.
Some people notice irritation from baking soda. If so, then omit it from the recipe and use arrowroot powder in its place.
If you’re purchasing essential oils, avoid oils that say “fragrance oil” or “perfume oil” as these can be synthetic and can be more toxic than beneficial. Instead, look for oils that say “pure essential oil” or “100% essential oil” for the highest quality essential oil.
